Tasha Edwards-  Technical Choreographer

Unable to afford professional dance lessons, Tasha began to learn her craft by watching her mother, grandmother, uncles and aunts dance at family gatherings.  Determined to find a place as a dance, Tasha participated in routines performed at her after school program.  By the age of eleven, she was responsible for her own dance team, choreographing each dance and cheer and getting the group into the prestigious Bud Billiken parade.  Tasha continued her dance education in high school where she took jazz, tap, African, and modern, was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the school's half time dance team and performance dance group. She was also a member of the New Life Performance Company, a Chicago based youth dance company. Devon Micah-Jamar Jones aka Vegas - He wasn’t very interested in dancing much until at the age of 12 and it was real huge step for him; took alot of hard work, practice and determination to become well experienced.  Sophomore year in Lee High School he became a part of Dance Magnet Incorporated (DMC) and was the only guy in it for 3 years.  His dance teacher was Mrs. Nikki Hunkinpillar who opened his eyes to whole new of meaning of choreography; he was able to take Jazz, Ballet, and mix it up with Hip-Hop.  After graduating from Lee High in 2005 he started to take his talent to new heights and excel more in varieties in Hip-Hop, that’s when he started attending Alabama A&M University to get the feel of college life which started out tough, but began to get real familiar with it.  The college life was a good experience, but it wasn’t helping him on his quest of success in the entertainment industry that’s when he spotted his first dance crew named “NRG Dance Team”, a well-known dance squad on Alabama A&M campus.  Being with the crew taught him a lot of things on movements, transitions, and team work; being one of the best dancers on the team he was named “Huntsvegas”, that is where his nickname “Vegas” came from and has represented that name ever since.  Now at the age of 22 with 10 years experience as a dancer he has extensive knowledge of the theory and techniques required to compose, produce, and perform works of music and dance.
