Recitals are a very big part of the NEEMA environment. It gives everyone a workable goal. NEEMA has two recitals per year, and usually several Panoply performances. Unlike the traditional recital setting, NEEMA students are allowed to watch the recitals live in the audience. It has been our experience in the past that the children perform better when they see advance levels of dance. It eliminates stage fright, and fosters grace and stage presence that is sometimes difficult to teach.
Winter Concert
Winter Concerts are usually for the kids. It provides a performance experience for the new children, and stimulates the returning students. It creates a certain energy in the studio that the end of the year and encourages them to perform well. Our winter concert is a combination of secular and spiritual performances that an overall positive message.
Spring Recitals
Spring Recitals are usually in mid-June, and are for the parents, family, and friends of our NEEMA students. Spring recitals are open to the public because we want everyone to see the progress of the gifted and talented NEEMA students. Since we open enrollement, we focus on technique to ensure that we have a quality program for parents to see progress in their children year after year.
